92 points / 4.5 stars      Bob Campbell MW
Moderately sweet, luscious Riesling with mandarin, honey, musk and tropical flower flavours. Sweetness is perfectly balanced by fruity acidity. Appealing wine that is deliciously drinkable now. Great value at this price.
94 points / 5 stars      Sam Kim, Wine Orbit
A gorgeous medium-style riesling, it is beautifully fragrant on the nose displaying fresh apple, grapefruit, nectarine and lemon zest characters, followed by a delicately weighted palate that offers appealing sweetness (42 g/l) and mouth-watering acidity. It is brilliantly balanced and harmonious, great drinking now but will evolve magnificently too. At its best: now to 2022.
Viticulture
Our Riesling vines are planted on soils sloping slightly to the south, which cools the vines enough to delay the ripening process thus allowing the flavours to develop long before the sugars can accumulate. Throughout the season, the vines are left to battle with nature alone, this lets the vines develop a balance with nature where they fight for themselves as we think it is unnecessary to always be tending to the grapes and micromanage the land. We like to call it – Free-range viticulture.
Winemaking
Almost crystal clear juice is inoculated with SIHA 7 yeast and controlled with cooling to keep the fermentation as slow as possible.
8 days is all that is needed to convert the right amount of sugar into 8% alcohol and for the balance of the wine to be perfect. Over the next 3 months, the wine is stirred 8 times to help flavour the wine and create lovely complexity. The wine is then left to relax until  bottling…
